Disney stars Miley Cyrus and Demi Lovato will join Jesse McCartney at the 2nd annual Concert for Hope. The concert raises money for lifesaving cancer research and treatments at City of Hope, which is one of the country's leading cancer centers.
Cyrus will headline the event for the second straight year. Last year the sold out Concert for Hope brought in more than $1.2 million for the organizations's research efforts.
This year, the Hannah Montana star is donating $1 from every ticket sold during her Wonder World Tour. The one-day tour break for the Concert for Hope is one of the only for Miley during the jam-packed tour schedule. The calendar filled up even more when the 16 year old singer was sidelined last month with strep throat. Several of the rescheduled tour dates are within a few days of the Concert for Hope.
Pop princess and Disney star Demi Lovato will also perform to raise money at the 2009 Concert for Hope on October 25.
The concert will be held Sunday October 25 at 5pm at the Nokia Theater at LA Live in Los Angeles.
Tickets for the concert are still available through Ticketmaster. A search for tickets revealed prices between $84.50 and $259.50.
